The Sickest Man Knows How to Feel

I was only as sick as yesterday until I got in the car two hours ago. Then I got hit with something horrible.

Incredible nausea and light-headedness. I tried to fix it with shawarma, but that just came up when I got home. At least I was able to pick up Schumpeter’s Capitalism, Socialism and Democracy from the library. I’m sure I’ll love it, it’s Schumpy after all, (not that I’ll agree with it at all, just enjoy it), but I wish it was an audiobook. I’m too lazy to hold books.

So back to reading in bed (between tossing and turning) for me. I haven’t felt this sick in years.

Update: here’s an article on who Schumpeter is by DeLong.  I put it here because the reviews on the Amazon site make Schumpy sound like some sort of socialist.  Don’t want y’all thinking withdrawal has made me crazy.

 

Iceland under attack, What do we do? Fight Back?

The lightest and angriest reading of this article has Bear Stearns trying to destroy Iceland, my future Utopic (the yearly high temp is 13 celcius!) home.  That’s just the nastiest thing I’ve ever heard, even worse than the continuing Irish attempt to live in Ireland.

I hope something bad happens to Bear Stearns.

 

India declares personal vendetta against me

Due to some probable failing in India’s culture, India has decided to sacrifice it’s economy just to fuck me.  I’ve never done anything to India.  Who in India can think of even one thing I’ve done to have them come down so hard on me?

While my rice filled nights will probably come to an end for a while, this move will surely hurt India more than it hurt me.

NOTE: I tried to find a good picture of rice on google image search to add to this post, but all that happened was I came across a picture of rice with the caption “I like my rice a bit more chewy”.  Now I know some stranger’s rice preference. Great.  I can’t unlearn that shit.
